Scene of life in the lane of the Achabine area, Medina of Fes.
In the day, Achabine is a lively animated place with many traditional shops, street restaurants and market in the early morning. At night, it is a scary area which doesn't feel safe at all. I walked through it once with my friend Faris and I felt like in a Jack the Ripper film .... very, very dark and gloomy.
